Biotona Bio Kale Raw is derived from Brassica oleracea acephala, otherwise known as borecole or kale. This curly cabbage is rightly regarded as the queen of the leafed vegetables, because it contains an arsenal of phytonutrients! Kale has been rediscovered by scientists in recent years and is now right back in the public eye. The vegetables that are used for the Biotona powder are 100% organically grown in Poland. After harvesting and selection, the kale is immediately freeze-dried to create a powder that in terms of flavour, aroma and colour is as close as possible to the fresh vegetable. This drying process also ensures that the naturally present nutrients and phytonutrients are optimally retained.
